This ROBLOX event was made over a 3-month period and released in January 2023. I was the Creative Lead and main content artist for the project. I was helped by a Designer another generalist that did a fantastic job with some very demanding animations and 3 engineers to bring the experience to life. The brief was a Neon-Cyber world featuring elements from the music videos by the band and other cultural references.
I designed and built the world and the event spaces, I also created 9 unique initial character models that I rigged and captured several sessions of Motion capture using Deepmotion animation tools. I also created all the graphical elements, badges etc and a large amount of the UGC items that were available.
The event included a Lobby to explore, with obstacles to overcome and challenges to complete to get several unique UGC awards.
The event at the time of going live ended with over 10 million visits and an 89% rating, it beat the Elton John event that was live just after Christmas 2023
